IS to provide an atmosphere for the exaltation of Jesus Christ in worship

and daily living and to develop mature Christians who are ready for the

coming of the Lord.

WE see thousands of members committed to the maturity covenant who devote daily

time with God, give a weekly tithe or committed seed offering, and participate in weekly service for God.

WE see a network to support our pastor and leaders, and to reach our community in love.

WE see training for new leaders to oversee focus groups for Bible Study and Saturday Evening Worship in outlying communities.

WE see a staff of ministers and teachers equipped with the vision, character, and knowledge to assist others in Christian growth.

WE see the establishment of Spirit and Life Institute that provides classes, seminars, and conferences for personal development, bible study, and life skills.

WE see age appropriate personal development for our children and youth discover and maintain a life-long love for Jesus and his Church, and to understand their purpose in the world.

WE see Spirit and Life Ministries as a model for other churches in developing disciples for Christ as we prepare for the coming of the Lord.

Vision

Purpose

To Touch Lives by the Word of God

The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19)

To Reach the World with the Gospel

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

To Exalt Christ in Worship

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. (Psalm 34:3)

To Empower Hearts by Love

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (1 John 4:7-8)

To Transform Minds by the Spirit

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1-2)
